Woo Sang-hyeok moved from Seocheon County Office in Chungnam Province to Yongin City Hall last year.

Woo Sang-hyeok plans to return to Korea on the 14th, participate in the Diamond League meet in Doha, Qatar in May, and then compete consecutively in the World Championships in Budapest, Hungary (August) and the Hangzhou Asian Games (September).

Lee Sang-il, mayor of Yongin City, said, "Woo Sang-hyeok has the advantage of competing optimistically with his characteristic smile in any situation," and congratulated him, saying, "It must not have been easy to train and compete while competing away from home, but I welcome the good results in the first competition of this year."
