Changwon Mayor Hong Nampyo's 'Visiting Dialogue with Citizens' Sparks Enthusiastic Response

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Song Jong-gu] Changwon Special City held its second dialogue with citizens on the 10th at the Changwon Munseong University Convention Hall in Seongsan-gu, with about 400 participants.

The atmosphere on site was further heightened by people who came after hearing the review of the first dialogue with citizens held on the 1st in Uichang-gu.

A large “Voice of the Citizens” box was prepared on site so that citizens could comfortably put their policy suggestions or requests for resolving inconveniences in daily life into messages.

Mayor Hong Nam-pyo went up on the stage and directly explained this year’s administrative direction titled “New Changes and Challenges Toward the Next 50 Years of Changwon in 2023” to the citizens participating in the dialogue, covering five areas and 30 detailed tasks: ▲Laying the foundation for the re-leap of Changwon’s economy ▲A warm Changwon that embraces citizens’ lives ▲Creating urban dignity befitting Changwon’s status ▲Creating future-oriented urban spaces ▲A vibrant city attracting youth, receiving enthusiastic applause from the participants by matching the explanation to the citizens’ perspective.

Changwon Special City Mayor Hong Nampyo held his second dialogue with citizens on the 10th at the Convention Hall of Changwon Munsung University in Seongsan-gu.

Mayor Hong said, “I will definitely take care of the suggestions made today so that the lives of our citizens can become a little happier.”

Meanwhile, the third dialogue with citizens is scheduled to be held on the 17th at the Jinhae District Office large conference room.
