Application for the 13th Term Closes on the 13th
[Gokseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Cha Jong-seon] Jeonnam Gokseong-gun (Governor Lee Sang-cheol) announced that it is recruiting new students for the "13th Gokseong Premium Agriculture University" until the 13th.
This training course is focused on "Blueberry" and will recruit about 30 people.
The training schedule consists of a total of 21 sessions from the opening day on the 23rd until December, held 2 to 4 times a week for 4 hours each. Among them, 4 sessions will include advanced site visits and practical training to enhance educational effectiveness.
Applicants wishing to enroll can visit their local town or township office or the Rural Support Division of the Gokseong-gun Agricultural Technology Center by the 13th to apply. Required documents include an application form, a photo (4x5cm), a resident registration certificate, and a consent form for personal information use.
Eligibility for application is limited to residents registered in Gokseong-gun or those planning to return to farming in Gokseong-gun. Additional candidates will be selected as reserves, and if there are vacancies, admission will be granted based on the priority of reserve candidates.
This year, the Gokseong Premium Agriculture University will conduct face-to-face education as COVID-19 conditions have somewhat improved. Additionally, on-site training will be conducted to provide practical help in farming fields.
A county official said, "The Gokseong Premium Agriculture University is an educational program to nurture future leaders of Gokseong agriculture. We hope that many people with excellent abilities and a sense of mission will apply and together create a vibrant and competitive future agriculture in Gokseong."
