[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Hyung-gil] SK Energy announced on the 9th that it will donate 15 billion KRW to support energy-vulnerable groups struggling with increased heating costs.
The donation will be entrusted to the Korea Energy Foundation and will be used to support vulnerable groups such as single-parent families, elderly living alone, people with disabilities, and children from low-income families. It will be used for insulation, window construction, replacement of old energy facilities such as boilers, and high-efficiency lighting replacement projects.
SK Innovation Ulsan Complex (CLX) also donated 2 billion KRW last month as a neighborly love fund to low-income and vulnerable groups in the Ulsan area and supported winter heating costs for 56 local children's centers in the Ulsan region.
