The selection process includes a first round of document and video screening, followed by a second round of live performance evaluation to select performance groups with excellent skills. The final selected groups will be given opportunities to participate in performances and receive a certain amount of performance expenses.

‘Brunch Healing Busking’ will be held from April to October every Wednesday and Thursday from 12:10 PM to 12:40 PM at Sangmu District Peace Park. This year, two performances will also be held at workplaces within Seo-gu by accepting stories through Seo-gu Office’s SNS.

Also, ‘Urban Healing Busking’ will take place from April 19 to October at four locations: in front of Sejeong Outlet, in front of Yeomju POSCO Park, Geumho Food Village, and Dongcheon-dong Gwangju Streamside. ‘I am also a Busker’ plans to perform from 6:30 PM to 7:10 PM on the last Friday of every month from April to September at Gwangcheon-dong Youth Square Plaza.

Applications can be submitted via email, and detailed application methods and required documents can be found on the Seo-gu Office website.

Kim Yi-gang, Mayor of Seo-gu, said, “We hope for active participation from performance groups so that local residents can enjoy cultural and artistic performances anytime and anywhere,” and added, “We will do our best to become a living government close to citizens, approaching them more closely.”
