Hanwha Aerospace 3rd Plant Joint Invention and Design
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Seryeong] Gyeongsangnam-do will gift 60 elderly residents with mobility difficulties in the region a walking aid called 'Gureumica' over two days, on the 9th and 16th of this month.
According to Gyeongnam Province on the 9th, 'Love's Gureumica' is a device jointly devised and designed by the Gyeongsangnam-do Volunteer Center and the technical staff of Hanwha Aerospace 3rd Plant to prevent safety accidents among elderly people in welfare blind spots within the province.
It is a customized functional walker that supports a person's body weight to assist stable movement and also has a chair function. Employees of the 3rd Plant participated in all processes from design to production.

Since 2018, the province has distributed a total of 474 units to all cities and counties, and this time, 60 units will be delivered.
They also plan to deliver daily necessities such as ramen and fruit together.
Jo Hyun-ok, Director of the Provincial Autonomous Administration Bureau, said, "I express my gratitude to the employees who show interest in social issues and practice love for neighbors in need," adding, "We will strive even more to solve various community problems through volunteer work."
