Implementation of the 'Export Document Dispatch Information Customer Notification Service'
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Song Jong-gu] BNK Gyeongnam Bank is implementing the ‘Export Document Dispatch Information Customer Notification Service,’ which allows export companies to easily check the dispatch information of trade-related documents.
Previously, domestic export companies had to visit the branch in person or confirm the document dispatch information via phone call when submitting related documents to the bank for export tasks such as purchase and collection, and then relay the information to the importing companies, causing inconvenience.
With the implementation of the Export Document Dispatch Information Customer Notification Service, customers can now automatically receive document dispatch information without a separate request to the branch.
Additionally, when export documents received by the bank are dispatched overseas, dispatch information such as the dispatch date and tracking number is automatically notified via text message or email, allowing customers to easily check the current location of the documents through the message.
Detailed information about the Export Document Dispatch Information Customer Notification Service can be confirmed at all BNK Gyeongnam Bank branches.
Lee Young-mi, head of the Foreign Exchange Department, said, “Being able to receive overseas dispatch information of export documents immediately via text or email is expected to greatly enhance customer convenience. We hope many customers will use the more convenient Export Document Dispatch Information Customer Notification Service.”
BNK Gyeongnam Bank has selected its main foreign exchange business for 2023 as ‘increasing export bill purchases and attracting new companies using export-import related organizations,’ and plans to actively expand export-import marketing.
