On the 9th, the Yangcheon Police Station in Seoul announced that they arrested a woman in her 20s, identified as A, on charges of attempted parricide.
A is accused of attempting to kill her father, B, who is in his 60s, with a weapon during an argument at an apartment in Mok-dong, Yangcheon-gu, Seoul, around midnight that day.
B is currently receiving treatment at a nearby hospital and is reported to be in stable condition.
The police stated, "Details such as the motive for the crime are under investigation."
