Hanwha Systems, the Only Defense Company Awarded for Supporting Military Personnel Employment

[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Chaeseok] Hanwha Systems announced on the 8th that it was selected as a meritorious company for employment support for military personnel last year.

On the same day, Hanwha Systems received a plaque of appreciation in the name of the Minister of National Defense at the Army Hall in Yongsan-gu, Seoul. It is the only defense company among the five awarded companies.

Uh Seongcheol, CEO of Hanwha Systems, said, "It is meaningful to be recognized for creating quality jobs and efforts to support employment," and added, "We will continue to do our best to discover excellent talent and support their growth."

Hanwha Systems participates annually in the Military Personnel Employment Fair to provide employment consulting. Since 2017, it has been operating a Soldier Love Career and Employment Mentoring Program in cooperation with the Ministry of National Defense, offering assistance with resume editing and mock interview guidance.

In the government awards ceremony for job creation meritorious service hosted by the Ministry of Employment and Labor on December 12 last year, the company received the Bronze Tower Order of Industrial Service Merit in the group category (private companies). It also obtained certification as an excellent family-friendly company from the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family.
