Hyundai Motor's Top 10 Sales Performers of Last Year... Director Kim Ki-yang, the Employee with the Highest Sales

[Asia Economy Reporter Suyeon Woo] Hyundai Motor Company announced the list of the top 10 nationwide sales performers for 2022 on the 9th. The top-selling employee was Kim Gi-yang, Sales Director at the Daejeon Branch (54 years old).


Director Kim sold 392 vehicles throughout 2022. With this, he earned the honor of being selected as Hyundai's top-selling employee for two consecutive years. Since joining the company in October 1991, Kim has sold a total of 5,765 vehicles up to last year.


Kim said, "I feel pride and a sense of accomplishment in achieving first place in nationwide sales again this year following last year," adding, "I made efforts to communicate more frequently with waiting customers in various ways."


He continued, "Although I achieved first place in nationwide sales for the first time last year, I did not become complacent and diligently studied products to communicate with even more customers than before," expressing his determination by saying, "I will continue to be a reliable supporter who sincerely shares joys and sorrows with customers."

Meanwhile, the top 10 sales performers included ▲ Lee Jeong-ho, Sales Manager at Seongdong Branch with 383 vehicles ▲ Choi Jin-seong, Sales Director at Seodaemun Central Branch with 299 vehicles ▲ Kim Ju-seon, Sales Manager at Uijeongbu Branch with 299 vehicles ▲ Jeong In-cheol, Sales Manager at Gongneung Branch with 298 vehicles ▲ Kwak Kyung-rok, Sales Manager at Suwon West Branch with 297 vehicles ▲ Yoon Cheol-hee, Sales Manager at Bangbae Branch with 294 vehicles ▲ Kwon Gil-ju, Sales Manager at Suwon Branch with 293 vehicles ▲ Baek Jong-won, Sales Manager at Suwan Central Branch with 287 vehicles ▲ and Lee Yang-gyun, Sales Director at Anjung Branch with 266 vehicles.


The employees selected as the top 10 sales performers mentioned key factors that enabled them to achieve excellent sales results despite various difficulties last year. They cited strategic sales methods that identify diverse customer demands and propose appropriate vehicle models, as well as strengthened care services for waiting customers based on a customer-first mindset.


A Hyundai Motor Company official said, "Along with the recently launched The All-New Kona, we will continue to introduce innovative products that keep pace with changes in customers' lifestyles and provide differentiated services."
