[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Byung-don] On the 9th, the whole country will be mostly cloudy, with rain or snow starting from Jeju Island in the late afternoon and spreading to the southern regions.
Expected precipitation amounts are 20-60mm for Jeju Island, 5-40mm for Jeonnam and Gyeongnam, 5-20mm for Jeonbuk and Gyeongbuk, and around 5mm for southern Chungbuk and Chungnam.
As of 7 a.m. on the day, temperatures are -2.3°C in Seoul, -2.0°C in Incheon, -4.4°C in Suwon, -8.0°C in Chuncheon, 1.2°C in Gangneung, -3.0°C in Cheongju, -4.1°C in Daejeon, -2.3°C in Jeonju, 0.6°C in Gwangju, 8.1°C in Jeju, -2.7°C in Daegu, 4.3°C in Busan, 0.2°C in Ulsan, and 0.5°C in Changwon.
The daytime high temperatures are forecasted to be between 5 and 12 degrees Celsius, with Seoul expected to reach a high of 10 degrees Celsius.
Fine dust levels are expected to be 'normal' across all regions.
However, the Chungcheong, Honam, and Yeongnam regions are expected to temporarily experience 'bad' levels in the morning.
Sea waves will be 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the East Sea coastal waters, and 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the West Sea and South Sea coastal waters.
Wave heights in the offshore waters (about 200 km from the coastline) are expected to be 0.5 to 2.5 meters in the East Sea and West Sea, and 0.5 to 3.0 meters in the South Sea.
