'Space Zoom' Feature Praised Overseas
Samsung Electronics' latest flagship smartphone, the 'Galaxy S23 Ultra,' is receiving praise for its camera overseas. Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, also could not hide his admiration.
Marques Brownlee, a US IT YouTuber with about 16.6 million subscribers, posted a video on his Twitter on the 7th (local time) showing the moon in the night sky zoomed in using the Galaxy S23 Ultra. In the video, the Galaxy S23 Ultra clearly captured the surface and contours of the moon, including its craters.
The Galaxy S23 Ultra is the first model to feature a 200-megapixel camera. It boasts 'unprecedented camera' performance with a 'Space Zoom' function that can magnify up to 100 times.
As of 1 p.m. on the 8th, Brownlee's post had received about 290,000 'likes.'
In particular, Elon Musk sparked attention by replying to Brownlee's video with the exclamation "Wow."
Samsung Electronics' US branch also responded to Brownlee and Musk's tweets with "I know, right?!" and retweeted Brownlee's post in return.
Meanwhile, Samsung Electronics is successfully operating 'Galaxy Experience Spaces' in locations including San Francisco in the US, Paris in France, and the United Arab Emirates, allowing global consumers to directly experience and verify the performance of the new product.
Samsung Electronics explained on its official website, "At the Galaxy Experience Spaces operating in 24 cities across 19 countries worldwide, consumers can experience the camera features of the Galaxy S23 series, such as Nightography that allows bright shooting even at night, as well as gaming performance and the Galaxy ecosystem through inter-device connectivity."
