Boseong-gun Begins Issuance of Munhwa Nuri Card

Annual Support of 110,000 KRW, Automatic Recharge Issuance Begins

[Boseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Cheon-seok] Boseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that it started automatic recharge and issuance of the Integrated Cultural Voucher (Munhwa Nuri Card) from February 1st.

The Integrated Cultural Voucher provides an annual support of 110,000 KRW per person to basic livelihood security recipients and lower-income groups aged 6 and above for cultural arts, tourism, and sports activities. This year, the total number of beneficiaries in Boseong-gun is 3,815.

Boseong-gun plans to focus on promoting the application for the Integrated Cultural Voucher to new and reissuance applicants to improve the quality of life for vulnerable groups and reduce cultural disparities.

The Integrated Cultural Voucher implements an automatic recharge system, so if the previous year's cardholder maintains eligibility this year, the support fund is automatically recharged to the existing card without the need for a separate application or visit.

New and reissuance applicants can apply for issuance until November 30th of this year.

Users can use the card at registered online and offline Munhwa Nuri Card affiliated stores nationwide until December 31st of this year from the card issuance date, and any unused balance will be automatically forfeited.

A county official said, "Through the Integrated Cultural Voucher project, we will do our best to guide issuance and usage so that vulnerable groups can improve their quality of life and reduce cultural disparities through diverse cultural experiences."
