HiteJinro Launches French Wheat Beer 'Kronenbourg 1664 Ros?'

HiteJinro announced on the 8th that it will launch the popular beer ‘Kronenbourg 1664 Ros?’ from France’s representative wheat beer brand ‘Kronenbourg 1664’ in the domestic market. With this, ‘Kronenbourg 1664’ has established a three-product lineup in Korea, including Blanc, French Lager, and Ros?.


HiteJinro introduced ‘Kronenbourg 1664 Blanc’ to the Korean market in 2013. Since then, 1664 Blanc has consistently ranked among the top imported beers in convenience stores, receiving great love from consumers. Riding on this popularity, the company launched ‘Kronenbourg 1664 French Lager’ in 2018, and this year, with the release of ‘Kronenbourg 1664 Ros?,’ it aims to strengthen its portfolio and further solidify its position in the home market.


The newly released ‘1664 Ros?’ is a wheat beer infused with the fresh and sweet aromas of raspberry and peach. It is characterized by the harmonious blend of fine aroma hops and the delicate, elegant flavor of the spice coriander. The pink-orange beer combined with soft white foam also provides a visually refreshing experience. It has an alcohol content of 4.5% and is available in 500mL cans, sold nationwide at large supermarkets and convenience stores.


Oh Seong-taek, Executive Director of Marketing at HiteJinro, said, “We are pleased to introduce the Ros? product, the most popular among the various Kronenbourg 1664 products, to domestic consumers,” adding, “Along with France’s representative wheat beer brand Kronenbourg 1664 Blanc and 1664 French Lager, we expect consumers to enjoy a diverse range of tastes and charms with 1664 Ros?.”
