This year, the district plans to discover various projects through the public contest and invest a total budget of 30 million KRW, supporting up to 5 million KRW per project.

The contest fields are divided into open competition and designated competition. The open competition includes five areas (▲Gender-equal city created together ▲Safe city enjoyed together ▲Economically vibrant city working together ▲Women’s participation city growing together ▲Family-friendly city caring together), and the designated competition has one area (▲Women-friendly village creation project) to choose from.

Eligibility to apply is limited to nonprofit corporations or nonprofit private organizations located in Gwanak-gu that work to spread and promote gender equality culture and protect women's human rights.

The application period is until February 17, and interested corporations or organizations can submit the application form via email or visit the Women's and Family Division on the 3rd floor of Gwanak-gu Office for in-person submission.

The final selection results will be announced on February 28 on the Gwanak-gu website and notified individually after review by the Gender Equality Committee, considering contributions to women's rights and welfare promotion, project feasibility and effectiveness, budget appropriateness, and recent activity performance of the organizations.
