Gokseong-gun Provides Up to 1.2 Million KRW Housing Support for Young Employed Workers

For Non-Homeowners Aged 18 to 39

[Gokseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Cha Jongseon] Gokseong-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Lee Sangcheol) announced that it is accepting applications for housing cost support for young workers until the 24th.

Youth residing and working in Gokseong-gun can receive up to 100,000 KRW per month for 12 months through the "Youth Worker Housing Cost Support Project."

This support project aims to reduce the economic burden on diligent young workers and help them settle stably in Gokseong-gun.

The recruitment quota for Gokseong-gun is six people, and applicants must be young workers or young business owners aged between 18 and 39 residing in the region.

Workers must have been employed for at least three months out of the last six months, and business owners must have opened their business at least six months before the application date and operated it for at least three months.

The housing type condition requires applicants to be homeless residents living in either jeonse (with a loan of 50 million KRW or more) or monthly rent (60 million KRW or less). Additionally, applicants must have an income below 150% of the median income, which is 3.11 million KRW per month for a single-person household.

Applicants wishing to apply should check the recruitment announcement on the county website and visit the Population Policy Team of the Population Policy Division in Gokseong-gun within the application period.

However, homeowners, low-income housing benefit recipients, LH rental housing supply and housing-related financial support recipients, and those eligible for similar housing-related projects by the government or other local governments are excluded from applying.

A county official stated, "We will continue to discover youth support projects to help young people improve their work capabilities and foster future-oriented thinking."
