Gwangju Buk-gu Holds Joint Briefing Session on Small and Medium Enterprise Support Policies

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yuk-bong] Buk-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City announced on the 7th that it will hold the '2023 Joint Briefing Session on Small and Medium Business Support Policies' at 2 p.m. on the 10th at the Gwangju Technopark Life Support Robot Center.

This event was prepared to provide various support information to employees of small and medium-sized enterprises, expand corporate benefits, induce growth, and thereby drive regional economic development.


On the day of the briefing session, 12 organizations including Buk-gu, Gwangju Technopark, the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, KOTRA, and the Korea Economic Employment Promotion Agency will participate, and each organization will present its small and medium business support policies.


The support policies consist of projects of high interest to SMEs, such as ▲policy fund support ▲human resource development and startup support ▲export and sales channel support ▲research and development and facility support ▲AI-based business support.


In addition, separate from the briefing session, joint consultation booths will be operated to provide one-on-one customized consulting to SMEs, and guidebooks containing various policy projects will also be distributed on-site.


In particular, the support policy guidebook will be posted on the Buk-gu Office website for SMEs who could not attend the briefing session.


Moon In, the head of Buk-gu Office, said, “I hope many small and medium business owners participate in this briefing session to receive practical support benefits,” and added, “We will continue to actively strive to create a business-friendly Buk-gu by discovering various support policies together with partner organizations.”


Meanwhile, since 2018, Buk-gu has established an organic cooperative system by signing business agreements with 15 corporate support organizations to share work, discover and support cooperative projects for SME support.
