Gwangju Bukbu Fire Station Conducts Special Training on Fire Door Opening

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] The Gwangju Northern Fire Station announced on the 7th that it conducted a 'Special Training on Fire Door Opening' for on-site activity personnel.

This training was promoted to strengthen initial response capabilities by improving the rapid and accurate on-site response skills of personnel in emergency situations such as fire scenes, and will be conducted until April 18th with 119 rescue team members serving as instructors.

The main training contents include ▲Understanding fire door structure ▲Types of door opening equipment and methods of using destruction tools ▲Repeated practice in pairs ▲Precautions when opening fire doors ▲Sharing on-site response technique experiences.

Joo Sun-mi, head of the 119 Disaster Response Division, stated, “We will do our best to improve on-site activity capabilities through continuous sharing of response techniques and repeated training.”
