[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters has completed the overseas cultural experience program "Global Talent Development Program" for high school students in the areas surrounding the power plant.
This program is one of the business support projects implemented by the Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters, designed to foster global talents in the areas surrounding the power plant and to enhance students' foreign language skills.
Students from Jangan Jeil High School who participated in the global talent development program conducted by the Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters.
The Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters selected 142 outstanding third-year high school students from schools near the power plant, including Busan Jang-an High School and Jang-an Jeil High School, to support their participation in a cultural experience program in Osaka and Kyoto, Japan.
The participating students visited Doshisha University in Kyoto and interacted with enrolled students. They also visited various attractions in the Osaka and Kyoto areas, experiencing local culture and improving their international communication skills.
Lee Kwang-hoon, head of the Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters, said, "For the long-term growth of the region, it is important to nurture local talents with global capabilities. We will continue to strive to provide better educational environments for the youth who will lead the future of the region."
