The Digital Smart Busan Academy Project Group at Pukyong National University and Connect Space signed the agreement on the 1st at Pukyong National University's Future Hall, agreeing to collaborate to cultivate SW professionals tailored to the Busan region's field needs.
Through this agreement, the two organizations plan to establish and expand a smooth collaboration system between each institution and related organizations.
Officials from the Digital Smart Busan Academy Project Group at Pukyong National University and Connect Space are signing a mutual cooperation agreement.
The Digital Smart Busan Academy is a Pukyong National University-led project where universities and companies form a large consortium to jointly design and operate SW education courses and link them to employment.
This consortium was selected for the 2022 SW Professional Talent Development Project by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Institute for Information & Communications Technology Planning & Evaluation, receiving about 7.8 billion KRW in funding over four years to train more than 670 SW professionals.
The consortium includes 12 institutions such as Pukyong National University, Dong-A University, Dong-Eui University, Shinsegae I&C, BNK System, SCT, Intown, Sonamu Information Technology, ST Research, Toogram Systems, Pin Insight, and Busan Economic Promotion Agency.
