The Criminal Division 6 (Chief Prosecutor Kim Young-nam) of the Suwon District Prosecutors' Office, which is investigating former Chairman Kim, plans to conduct an investigation as soon as Park arrives.

Park lived in hiding with former Chairman Kim in Thailand. On the 10th of last month, when Kim was arrested at a golf course in Pathum Thani, Thailand, along with Yang Seon-gil, Chairman of Ssangbangwool, Park was elsewhere and fled. Afterwards, Park attempted to escape to Cambodia but was caught by local Cambodian police near the border.

It is reported that Park was carrying several mobile phones and bundles of documents used by former Chairman Kim. The prosecution reportedly secured the items Park possessed at the time through the Cambodian police.

The prosecution believes that the mobile phones used by former Chairman Kim contain evidence to prove various charges.
