Geochang-gun and Hanseong Enterprise Sign Agreement for Establishing Public and National Childcare Centers

Agreement on Installation and Operation at The Sharp Forsiel Complex 1

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Geochang-gun, Gyeongnam, held an agreement in the county office situation room for the installation and operation of a public national and public daycare center within the apartment complex, attended by representatives of Hanseong Enterprise, the project entity of The Sharp Forciel Complex 1.

On the 6th, the county signed an agreement stating that Hanseong Enterprise, which is constructing The Sharp Forciel Complex 1 scheduled for move-in in January 2024, will install and operate a national public daycare center.

Geochang-gun, Gyeongnam Province, signed an agreement with Hanseong Enterprise to establish and operate a public national and public daycare center within the apartment complex.

The Sharp Forciel Complex 1 daycare center is planned to accommodate about 60 infants and toddlers on the first floor (271.65㎡), and the county plans to promote the project by supporting remodeling and equipment purchase costs aiming for opening in January 2024.

Through this agreement, the county can reduce the construction costs of the daycare center, relieve the burden of child-rearing for residents and tenants, and provide high-quality childcare services to the infants and toddlers using the daycare center.

County Governor Goo In-mo said, “Through this agreement, an opportunity has been created to relocate the national public daycare center, which has been outdated for over 30 years, to a pleasant and stable childcare environment,” and added, “Geochang-gun will continue to seek ways to expand national public daycare centers step by step and make further efforts to create a child-friendly environment by strengthening public childcare.”
