In the early morning (local time) of the day, a magnitude 7.8 earthquake struck Turkey, resulting in nearly 900 deaths and thousands of injuries in Turkey and Syria so far.
In the northwestern region of Iran, a magnitude 5.9 earthquake occurred on the 29th of last month, causing 3 deaths and injuring about 800 people.
