According to the Mokpo Coast Guard Station, at 5:46 PM on the 6th, an unidentified missing person was found unconscious and without breathing inside the hull.

Earlier, at 4:17 PM, crew member Yeo (54) was found dead inside the hull and recovered.

In the early morning of the same day, chief engineer Kim (65) was the first among the missing to be found near the engine room bedroom, and during the day, crew members Lee (58) and Joo (56) were successively recovered near the stern.

The total crew on board Cheongboho was 12, with three crew members rescued by a merchant ship immediately after the accident.

With five of the nine missing persons found consecutively on the third day of the search, four remain missing, including the captain.

The rescue authorities are currently installing a containment boom to prevent drifting in order to proceed with the search after raising Cheongboho.

Once the containment boom installation is complete, they will attempt to lift Cheongboho onto a barge using a crane vessel, and if the situation is unfavorable, they will tow Cheongboho to a safe area and retry the salvage operation.
