Fasoo and Sparrow Selected Again as 'Youth-Friendly Small Giants' This Year

[Asia Economy Reporter Hyungsoo Park] Fasoo and its subsidiary Sparrow announced on the 6th that they have been selected as '2023 Youth-Friendly Small Giants' by the Ministry of Employment and Labor.

The Ministry of Employment and Labor has been selecting Youth-Friendly Small Giants annually since 2016 to improve young people's perception of small and medium-sized enterprises. Fasoo and Sparrow were named again this year following evaluations by category and on-site inspections, as they were last year.

Both companies, which have contributed to youth employment creation, operate various recruitment systems such as industry-academia cooperation internships and global internships, in addition to three open recruitments for new employees conducted last year. They are enhancing employee welfare by improving systems such as excellent employee savings support and in-house housing loan programs. Fasoo and Sparrow boast relatively long average employee tenure in the industry while maintaining a young organizational culture.

Jang Ilsu, CEO of Sparrow, said, "Sparrow is increasing the proportion of female employees every year within a young and flexible organizational culture," adding, "We will continue to fulfill our social responsibility by creating quality jobs and strive for both employees and the company to grow happily together."

Cho Gyugon, CEO of Fasoo, explained, "Fasoo and Sparrow provide various compensation and welfare systems to support young employees not only in expanding youth employment but also in becoming full-fledged members of society after recruitment," and added, "We hope to share the journey of Fasoo and Sparrow as global software companies with more young talents."
