At the 65th ceremony held on the 5th (local time) at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, USA, BTS was nominated for 'Best Pop Duo/Group Performance' with their collaboration song with the band Coldplay, "My Universe," and for 'Best Music Video' with "Yet To Come."

The winner of the 'Best Music Video' category was announced at a pre-ceremony event held before the main awards show. BTS was nominated for the title track "Yet To Come" from their anthology album "Proof," released last year, but the award went to American pop star Taylor Swift for "All Too Well: The Short Film."

The 'Best Pop Duo/Group Performance' trophy was awarded to German singer Kim Petras, who collaborated with Sam Smith on the global hit "Unholy." BTS, nominated for this category for three consecutive years, had high hopes for winning but unfortunately did not succeed.

BTS first connected with the Grammys three years ago at the 62nd ceremony with a joint performance with Lil Nas X. They were nominated for the 'Best Pop Duo/Group Performance' category at the 63rd and 64th ceremonies with their global hits "Dynamite" and "Butter," respectively, but did not win.

The Grammy Awards, hosted by the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (NARAS) consisting of singers, producers, recording engineers, and critics, is the most prestigious American popular music awards. It has been held annually since 1959 and boasts a longer history than the American Music Awards (started in 1974) and the Billboard Music Awards (started in 1990).

With Britpop band Coldplay's "Music of the Spheres" nominated for one of the four major Grammy awards, 'Album of the Year,' BTS's collaboration "My Universe" is also included among the nominees, leaving a possibility for a win. BTS members J-Hope, RM, and Suga are nominated as songwriters in this category as featured artists.
