Changnyeong County Sports Council, Inauguration of President Kim Bohak for the 2nd Elected Term

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Wook] The Changnyeong County Sports Council in Gyeongnam held the inauguration and retirement ceremony of the 1st and 2nd elected Changnyeong County Sports Council presidents at the Changnyeong County Gymnasium.

The event held on the 3rd was attended by about 300 internal and external guests, including Acting County Governor Jo Hyunhong and Chairman of Changnyeong County Council Kim Jaehan, celebrating the inauguration and retirement of the county sports council president.

The first elected president, Kang Gunho, said, “It was an honor to serve as the inaugural president of the county sports council during a time more difficult than ever due to COVID-19,” and added, “I believe President Kim Bohak will successfully lead the sports council with his outstanding experience.”

Kim Bohak, who was elected last December with overwhelming support from delegates in the 2nd elected county sports council president election, has worked for the development of county sports, serving as president of the Changnyeong County Volleyball Association and vice president of the Changnyeong County Sports Council. He has also continued broad activities for community development in various fields, serving as captain of the Changnyeong County Technical Volunteer Fire Brigade and president of the Changnyeong County Volunteer Fire Brigade Federation.

President Kim said, “Based on the pledges made during my candidacy, I will do my best to realize the true values of sports?justice and fairness?and to transform the county sports council into one where all county residents participate together.”
