Convenience Stores Valentine's Day Event... "Full of Character Goods" Models are introducing Valentine's Day products at the convenience store CU.

Convenience stores are presenting a variety of products in collaboration with characters, lifestyle brands, and more to celebrate Valentine's Day.


According to the industry on the 6th, CU has prepared more than 100 products this year, the largest number ever. They are launching products in collaboration with rabbit characters Miffy and Esther Bunny, and selling various goods featuring the popular flower car character among the MZ generation (Millennials + Generation Z). The lineup of collaboration goods with lifestyle brands, which are popular among customers in their teens and twenties, has also been expanded. CU is exclusively releasing five products including file bags and tin case sets with the lifestyle brand Dens. They are introducing two new jelly bags with Wiggle Wiggle and offering cooler bags, drawstring bags, and eco bags with Appr Appr. Until the 13th of this month, customers who pay with event cards can enjoy benefits such as purchasing 39 differentiated products, including Ferrero Rocher, at half price when buying two or more.


GS25 is launching triple collaboration products with Jjanggu and Crow Canyon. These products include three items: Jjanggu Crow Canyon tin case, Jjanggu Crow Canyon eco bag, and Jjanggu Crow Canyon mini carrier, which contain chocolates, snacks, and other components. About 70 types of chocolate products will be sold this month with discount events. For Ferrero Rocher, a representative Valentine's Day product, customers paying with event cards can receive a 2+2 promotion depending on the product. By scanning a 50% QR code posted on the event board within the Our Neighborhood GS application (app) at checkout, customers can purchase items at half price. For 52 planned products in collaboration with Jjanggu, customers paying with Naver Pay or Kakao Pay can receive a 30% payback.

Seven Eleven is offering exclusive differentiated products featuring popular characters Sanrio and Ppomppom. The Sanrio diary set includes a diary along with various chocolates and snacks. The Ppomppom party set consists of products with character party hats and garlands, as well as a disposable camera designed with the Ppomppom character. Premium chocolates such as Ferrero Rocher, KitKat, Guylian, and Kisses are also available.


Emart24 is launching four planned products in collaboration with Instagramtoon artist Kim Tokki Studio. To evoke a romantic atmosphere, the packaging features a pink background with Kim Tokki Studio’s cute rabbit character prominently displayed on the front. Until the 14th, customers who purchase 10,000 won or more at once using Kakao Pay on all event products will receive a 5,000 won Emart24 coupon as a gift.


An industry official from the convenience store sector said, “This year for Valentine's Day, we have prepared collaboration products with various brands popular among the MZ generation for customers who want special gifts,” adding, “We will continue to offer differentiated products reflecting the latest trends along with abundant events.”
