[Asia Economy Reporter Gong Byung-sun] The weather in Seoul and the metropolitan area will be somewhat warmer the next day, but fine dust levels are expected to worsen.

According to the Korea Meteorological Administration on the 5th, the nationwide morning low temperatures the next day are forecasted to be between -6 and 2 degrees Celsius, with daytime highs ranging from 6 to 13 degrees Celsius. In Seoul, the daytime high is expected to be 9 degrees Celsius.

However, fine dust concentrations will deteriorate. The metropolitan area is expected to experience 'Very Bad' levels temporarily in the morning, and Gyeongbuk will see 'Bad' levels. The metropolitan area, Gangwon Yeongseo, Chungcheong region, Gwangju, Jeonbuk, and Daegu will have 'Bad' levels, while other regions will be at 'Moderate' levels.

Rain will fall in Jeju Island from late afternoon through the night. Some rain is also expected along the southern coast of Jeollanam-do. Expected precipitation amounts are 5 to 20 mm in Jeju Island and less than 0.1 mm along the southern coast.

Fog will occur in some areas. In northern and southeastern Gyeonggi, Gangwon Yeongseo, and Chungbuk regions, dense fog with visibility below 200 meters is expected in the morning, so caution is advised for traffic safety.

Sea waves are expected to be 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the East Sea and South Sea coastal waters, and 0.5 meters in the West Sea coastal waters. In the offshore waters (approximately within 200 km from the coastline), wave heights are forecasted to be 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the East Sea, and 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the South Sea and West Sea.
