Gyeongsang National University and Pusan National University Open 6 Courses
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] The Agricultural Technology Center of Hamyang-gun, Gyeongnam, is recruiting trainees for the ‘2023 Best Agricultural Manager Course’ aimed at fostering new knowledge agricultural managers who will lead future agriculture, targeting farmers in Hamyang-gun until the 28th.
Six courses are offered at Gyeongsang National University and Pusan National University. The number of recruits per university is as follows: Gyeongsang National University Gajwa Campus offers 3 courses?Agricultural Product Processing, Rural Tourism, and Hanwoo Production and Processing?with 60 people; Gyeongsang National University Chilam Campus offers 2 courses?Facility Strawberry and Facility Chili Pepper & Tomato?with 40 people; and Pusan National University Miryang Campus offers 1 course?Smart Horticulture?with 25 people.
The education is a one-year course conducted for 140 hours at the respective campuses from April this year to February next year. The tuition fee is 2,104,000 KRW per person annually, of which 70% is subsidized by Gyeongnam Province and Hamyang-gun, so trainees are responsible for paying 631,000 KRW.
The recruitment schedule requires submitting an application to the Agricultural Product Distribution Department’s Human Resource Development Officer at the Agricultural Technology Center by the 28th. The respective universities will conduct document screening and interviews (which may be omitted), and the successful candidates will be announced on March 13.
