Chloe Cherry, an actress who appeared in the popular American HBO series "Euphoria," was indicted on the 2nd (local time) on charges of stealing a $28 (34,500 won) blouse. "Euphoria" is a work that has also gained popularity in Korea through the native OTT platform Wavve.
According to the American media TMZ, Cherry was caught on CCTV last December at a shopping mall in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA, leaving with a blouse without paying.
She paid for other items with a credit card except for the blouse. Cherry's side denied the crime, saying, "There was confusion because the credit card was not properly processed," but later admitted to theft during police investigation.
Cherry's trial will be held on March 1. Cherry, 25, who appeared as Pay, the drug dealer's girlfriend, in HBO's "Euphoria Season 2" released in January, is a former adult film actress who has appeared in about 200 adult films.
