Seoul City Appoints Jeong Chae-ik, Former SBS Radio Director, as TBS CEO

The term of office is 3 years from the date of appointment

[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] The Seoul Metropolitan Government announced on the 3rd that it will appoint Jeong Tae-ik, former SBS Radio Center Director, as the CEO of Media Foundation TBS effective the 6th. The term of office is three years from the date of appointment.

New CEO Jeong Tae-ik is an expert with over 30 years of experience and capabilities in radio broadcasting, having served as CP and Director of SBS Radio Center, making Power FM (107.7khz) the number one nationwide in listenership and achieving excellent results in advertising revenue.

The Seoul Metropolitan Government stated, “We expect new CEO Jeong Tae-ik to lead organizational innovation so that TBS can overcome the current crisis it faces and truly become a public broadcaster.”
