In areas under cold wave warnings, including northern and eastern Gyeonggi, inland and mountainous Gangwon, and some inland areas of Gyeongbuk, morning temperatures will be around -10 degrees Celsius, making it very cold.
As of 7 a.m. on this day, temperatures in major regions are as follows: Seoul -3.5°C, Incheon -4.5°C, Suwon -4.0°C, Chuncheon -6.6°C, Gangneung -0.4°C, Cheongju -2.5°C, Daejeon -3.2°C, Jeonju -2.7°C, Gwangju -1.0°C, Jeju 3.9°C, Daegu -1.5°C, Busan 2.7°C, Ulsan 0.7°C, Changwon 0.0°C.
The daytime high temperatures are forecasted to range from 1 to 10 degrees Celsius. The daytime high in Seoul is expected to be 3 degrees Celsius.
Fine dust levels will be 'Good' to 'Moderate' across all regions due to smooth atmospheric dispersion.
Sea waves will be 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the East Sea coastal waters, and 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the West Sea and South Sea coastal waters.
Wave heights in the offshore waters (approximately within 200 km from the coastline) of the East Sea, West Sea, and South Sea are expected to be 0.5 to 2.0 meters.
