As of 5:03 PM Korean time, the UK FTSE index rose 0.29% to 7,783.92, the German DAX index jumped 0.59% to 15,270.56, and the French CAC index increased 0.56% to 7,116.72.

The European benchmark index STXX600 was up 0.50% at 455.35.
