“Be a Strength to Neighbors” Gimhae City Council Delivers Red Cross Special Membership Fees

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Seryeong] The Gimhae City Council in Gyeongnam has paid the Red Cross special membership fee again this year.

The City Council announced on the 2nd that it delivered the 2023 special membership fee to the Gyeongnam branch of the Korean Red Cross.

The delivery ceremony was attended by Chairman Ryu Myeong-yeol, Standing Committee Member Lee Byeong-yeol of the Gyeongnam branch of the Korean Red Cross, Secretary-General Im Gun-bin, and Kim Na-gyeong, President of the Red Cross Volunteer Society Gimhae District Council.

Chairman Ryu Myeong-yeol said, “We deeply appreciate the Korean Red Cross’s efforts in disaster relief activities as well as their service and dedication to marginalized and struggling neighbors,” adding, “Our City Council will also strive to carefully look after neighbors in welfare blind spots and be a great support to citizens in need of help.”
