Small but Strong Agricultural Management Entities 'Gangsonong' Education
[Goheung=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Shim Jeong-woo] Jeonnam Goheung-gun (Governor Gong Young-min) announced that it is recruiting new Gangsonong trainees until February 24 to strengthen the self-reliance capabilities of agricultural management entities and organizations and to improve farm household income.
'Gangsonong' refers to agricultural management entities that have a small farming scale but continuously practice strong autonomous management innovation.

If selected as a new Gangsonong, various benefits will be provided, including ▲practical education for farm management improvement ▲specialized education such as item technology, processing, distribution, and marketing ▲enhancement of data utilization capabilities across production, management, and distribution ▲activities of autonomous groups ▲provision of agricultural technology information.
The recruitment target is any small- to medium-scale farmer residing in the area who has the will to practice management improvement.
To apply, download the application form from the Agricultural Technology Center website, fill it out, and submit it by visiting the Agricultural Technology Center or the Eup/Myeon office (Industry Team), or send it by mail, fax, or email.
An official from the county Agricultural Technology Center said, "We plan to select Gangsonong trainees who have future growth potential and strive to achieve management goals, providing various benefits so that they can grow into self-reliant and competitive farmers. We hope for the active interest and participation of farmers."
