[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] The Ulsan Gangnam-Gangbuk Education Support Office School Support Center will operate a concentrated recruitment period for the manpower pool on the second week of every month starting this year to efficiently carry out the recruitment of local government employees (educational public officials) assistants (substitutes).
If you apply during the concentrated recruitment period, you will be registered in the manpower pool on the same day. Outside the concentrated recruitment period, applications can be submitted by on-site visit or email, but registration in the manpower pool takes 1 to 2 days.
The School Support Center has been operating a manpower pool since 2020 to simplify school recruitment tasks and reduce the workload of personnel officers. Last year, 376 people were registered in the School Support Center manpower pool.
Those who wish to work as local government employee assistants or educational public official substitutes at schools can apply by visiting the Gangnam-Gangbuk Education Support Office School Support Center in person or by mail or email.
The School Support Center also supports job announcements and document reception for hiring substitute personnel such as fixed-term teachers, volunteer guardians on children's school buses, quarantine volunteers, and after-school program coordinators at kindergartens.
Marking its fourth year of operation this year, the Gangbuk and Gangnam Education Support Office School Support Centers have expanded customized on-site support such as school personnel work assistance to help reduce school workload.
As part of the customized on-site support, support for fixed-term teacher recruitment has been expanded, and interview screening support will be piloted for selected public middle schools that wish to participate.
By operating systems such as the after-school online support system, on-site school support has also been expanded, and to reduce school workload, textbook distribution support will be completed for local middle and high schools by the new semester in March.
