Cultural Nuri Card 110,000 KRW, Hope Voucher 80,000 KRW

[Yeosu=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Cheol-hoon] Jeonnam Yeosu City (Mayor Jeong Gi-myeong) announced that it has started the support projects for the ‘Integrated Cultural Voucher (Munhwa Nuri Card)’ and the ‘Hope Voucher Card’ to bridge the cultural gap for underprivileged groups.
▲ The Munhwa Nuri Card provides 110,000 KRW annually to 15,099 basic livelihood security recipients and legally designated lower-income groups aged 6 and above, ▲ The Hope Voucher Card provides 80,000 KRW annually to 1,200 multicultural families, North Korean defectors, and their children (aged 5 to 18) who have been registered residents in Yeosu for more than one year.

For both projects, existing cardholders will have their cards automatically recharged this year if they meet the eligibility criteria. ▲ The Munhwa Nuri Card can be applied for at any local community service center nationwide or via the Munhwa Nuri Card website (www.mnuri.kr) and app, ▲ The Hope Voucher can be applied for at the local town or township community service center of the registered address.
The cards can be used online and offline at affiliated stores registered in various cultural arts, travel, and sports fields such as performances, music albums, movies, travel, and sports. The Hope Voucher can only be used at affiliated stores registered in Yeosu City.
A city official stated, “We hope that this project will allow underprivileged groups to experience diverse cultural activities and improve their quality of life,” and added, “We will do our best to promote the program so that eligible recipients are not excluded from the benefits.”
