[Yeonggwang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jeonseong] Yeonggwang-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 2nd that it is recruiting participants for the ‘2023 First Half Regional Community Job Project’ until the 10th.
This project was promoted to provide direct jobs to employment-vulnerable groups to promote employment and livelihood stability.
The project will select 22 people for 8 projects, working 6 hours a day for 4 months from July 6 to October 30. The eligible applicants are residents of the county aged 18 or older with work ability, whose household income is below 60% of the median income standard and whose assets are below 400 million KRW, belonging to the employment-vulnerable group.
The detailed projects include Rural Development Demonstration Test Field Management Project, Cultural Heritage Regular Management Support Project, Industrial (Agricultural and Industrial) Complex Surrounding Environment Maintenance Project, Small Park Maintenance Project, Public Sewage Environment Maintenance Project, Beautiful Flower Road Creation Project, Sambongsan Trail Creation Project, and Gunseo-myeon 100-ri Flower Road Creation Project.
Participants will be responsible for tasks such as managing nurseries, mowing, cleaning facilities, and planting flower seedlings.
A county official said, “We will thoroughly supervise workplaces and manage safety to ensure that the project achieves concrete results,” and added, “We expect the public work project to greatly contribute to providing employment experience to the employment-vulnerable group and promoting livelihood stability.”
