Gyeonggi Office of Education Announces Personnel Changes for 9,591 Teachers and Education Professionals Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education

[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education announced personnel appointments for a total of 9,591 individuals on the 2nd, including principals, directors, vice principals, deputy directors, master teachers, teachers, and education specialists.


The Office of Education explained that the background of these appointments focused on placing the right candidates to lead new changes such as realizing the Gyeonggi education policy principles of 'Autonomy, Balance, and Future,' utilizing Edutech in education, and strengthening regional education cooperation.


Specifically, the appointments include 9,191 teaching staff such as principals, directors, vice principals, deputy directors, master teachers, and teachers, and 400 education specialists.


In particular, the Office of Education assigned passionate and capable talents to each department and task in line with the organizational restructuring scheduled for March for education specialists.


Accordingly, 35 additional education specialists will be deployed to ▲ strengthen student-customized education utilizing Edutech ▲ establish a regional cooperative education system ▲ prevent school violence incidents ▲ operate regional teacher rights protection support centers ▲ conduct school support-centered preventive audits ▲ and manage reconciliation and mediation organizations.


Shim Sang-woong, Head of the Teacher Personnel Division at the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education, stated, "The successful realization of Gyeonggi education’s new values of 'Autonomy, Balance, and Future' ultimately begins at the school site," adding, "We hope that capable teachers and education specialists will help schools flourish and unfold a bright future for Gyeonggi education."
