Online video service (OTT) Netflix will release the movie 'Gil Boksun' on March 31.
On the 2nd, Netflix announced this and released the poster for 'Gil Boksun.' 'Gil Boksun' is an action film depicting the story of Gil Boksun, a legendary killer in the contract killing industry, who, just before renewing her contract with the company, becomes embroiled in an unavoidable confrontation where she must either kill or be killed. The film was officially invited to the Special section of the 73rd Berlin International Film Festival.
Actress Jeon Do-yeon takes center stage as Gil Boksun, an A-grade killer belonging to the top company in the contract killing industry, and her teenage daughter Jaeyoung is played by Kim Si-a. The company representative Cha Min-gyu, who recognized Gil Boksun at a glance and made her a killer, is portrayed by Sol Kyung-gu, while Han Hee-seong, a killer who is not recognized, is played by Koo Kyo-hwan.
The film is directed by Byun Sung-hyun, who also directed 'The Merciless' (2017) and 'Kingmaker' (2022).
