[Asia Economy Sejong=Reporter Dongwoo Lee] Jeong Seung-il, CEO of Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO), visited the UK following his trip to Turkey to promote nuclear power plant sales.

Additionally, he met with Sama Bilbao y Le?n, Secretary General of the World Nuclear Association, and Tom Greatrex, CEO of the UK Nuclear Industry Association, to receive advice regarding KEPCO's participation in the UK nuclear power project and requested cooperation from related organizations.
CEO Jeong said, "The UK was the first country to operate a commercial nuclear reactor in 1956, so exporting nuclear power plants to the UK would be a highly symbolic achievement as the pioneer country of nuclear power exports," adding, "We will make every effort to achieve the government's goal of exporting 10 nuclear reactors in the future."
