This show features 456 contestants from around the world competing for a prize of $4.56 million (approximately 5.63 billion KRW) and is referred to as the live-action version of 'Squid Game.'

Before the main filming began, the participants gathered at a hotel and were instructed not to interact with other contestants and to abstain from smoking and drinking. Nevertheless, two contestants broke these rules by having sexual relations and were caught and subsequently eliminated.

Three contestants were injured during filming and received medical treatment. It was reported that the participants endured harsh cold weather to win the prize money, leading to some being taken out on stretchers.

One contestant said, "I thought I was getting frostbite because of the extreme cold," adding, "Most participants tried to endure by staying still for a long time because of the prize money. That period became too long." There were also testimonies stating, "Medical staff were on standby, but no one asked for help from them because they were enduring for the prize money. It was so cold that I couldn’t even move my feet."

A Netflix spokesperson, seemingly aware of rumors about serious injuries, emphasized, "That is absolutely not true. Three people received treatment for minor symptoms," and added, "We deeply care about the health and safety of the cast and crew. Medical staff are always on site, and we have invested significantly in proper safety procedures."

The broadcast confirmed with the East of England Ambulance Service, which oversees the area, that there have been no reports or rescue requests near the studio recently.
