[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] KT announced on the 2nd that it has signed a business agreement with the tablet ordering platform TiOrder to link with its artificial intelligence (AI) service robot.
TiOrder is the industry leader with a 65% market share in the tablet ordering platform market. Through the agreement, KT and TiOrder will supply a combined service linking the KT AI service robot with the TiOrder tablet menu to food service businesses. The two companies plan to expand this combined service to various industries such as hotels and department stores in the future.
The two companies have completed the first phase of technical integration between the AI service robot and the tablet menu and plan to commercialize the combined service starting this month. Customers visiting stores where the combined service is applied will be able to order food through the TiOrder tablet menu at their seats and receive the prepared food via the KT AI service robot.
