The Special Committee explained that the supplementary measures, including strengthened design standards to address key environmental impact factors such as avoidance of environmentally sensitive areas, safety, helicopter noise, and air pollution pointed out during the correction phase, as well as the concurrent use of temporary cable car construction methods and electric power operation, have fundamentally resolved these issues.

They particularly requested a swift decision since the Seoraksan Osaek Cable Car installation project is a national pilot project selected by the Ministry of Environment. They added, "The Osaek Cable Car project is a national agenda of the Yoon Seok-yeol administration (15 major policy tasks of the Regional Balanced Development Special Committee)" and repeatedly emphasized that it has been a long-cherished wish of the people of Gangwon Province for the past 40 years.

Chairman Jin Jong-ho said, "Since the Seoraksan Osaek Cable Car project has been delayed for a long time, we will do our best and provide support at the provincial council level to promote the early implementation of the project."
