Use the Haman-gun Munhwa Nuri Card! ... Also for Kids Cafes and Gift Certificate Exchanges

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Seryeong] From the 1st, Haman-gun, Gyeongnam Province will promote the 2023 Integrated Culture Voucher (Munhwa Nuri Card) project.

According to the county, the Munhwa Nuri Card is a card that supports cultural arts, tourism, and sports activities for basic livelihood security recipients and lower-income groups aged 6 or older born before December 31, 2017.

It provides an annual support of 110,000 KRW per person, and the usage period is from the issuance date until the end of December this year.

Eligible applicants can apply for new issuance, reissuance, or recharge online or at each eup/myeon office.

If the Munhwa Nuri Card holder from last year maintained their eligibility, it will be automatically recharged without a separate application process and can be used immediately.

Some users, such as those whose card has expired, welfare facility issuers, or those who have not used the full amount, will not be recharged, so they must visit their local eup/myeon office or apply online through the website.

The card can be used in the cultural sector including books, music, performances, movies, art, and cultural experiences; the tourism sector including transportation, travel agencies, tourist attractions, and accommodations; and the sports sector including viewing, goods, and facilities.

This year, the county has expanded usage locations to include exchanges and purchases of kids cafes, movie tickets, and theme park free passes.

Currently, there are about 30 affiliated stores in Haman, and information on affiliated stores can be found on the Munhwa Nuri Card website.

A county official said, “We will strive to promote the issuance and use of the Munhwa Nuri Card so that marginalized groups can enjoy cultural life.”
