[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Dooyul] The Department of Global Business at Dongmyung University is conducting a year-end settlement for each acquired certificate, providing scholarships to students who obtain certifications.
Eight students from the Department of Global Business at Dongmyung University earned certificates through on-campus certification acquisition training and received additional incentives such as scholarships based on their certification achievements over the past year.
By obtaining certificates, each student receives scholarships ranging from 100,000 to 400,000 KRW and also earns extracurricular mileage points, making it a triple-benefit year-end settlement for students.
The scholarship recipients include Song Seongmin, who conquered Trade English levels 1, 2, and 3; students who obtained Trade English level 2 or higher; and Noh Yujin, Bok Seungyeon, Jo Yuyoung, Jo Junhyun, Jeong Donghee, and Ha Heonyeong, who earned Computerized Accounting level 2.
Based on the certificates they have acquired, they are continuously advancing to obtain additional certifications such as International Trade Specialist, Trade English level 1, Computerized Accounting level 1, and Tax Accounting level 2.
The Department of Global Business at Dongmyung University has been fostering students' expertise by operating small elite classes of 10 students each for Computerized Accounting level 2 and Trade English level 2 certification courses twice during the summer vacation of 2022.
The certification classes were part of LINC3.0 extracurricular courses, offering high attendance, extracurricular mileage points upon certification acquisition, and a 50% refund on tuition fees paid.
The department aims to cultivate convergent talents in trade, logistics, finance, IT, and business fields, with a basic requirement of acquiring three certificates by graduation.
