- Annual Support of 200,000 KRW for Ages 19 to 28
[Gurye=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Yuk Miseok] Gurye-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that it will recruit recipients of the ‘Jeonnam Youth Culture Welfare Card’ throughout February.
The ‘Jeonnam Youth Culture Welfare Card Support Project’ is a program that provides young people with an annual cultural welfare fund of 200,000 KRW to be used for cultural welfare activities such as attending performances, purchasing books, and using sports facilities located within Jeonnam Province.

Especially from this year, the eligibility age has been lowered from 21 years old to 19 years old. Applicants must be youth aged 19 to 28 (born between 1995 and 2004) who have had a residence in Jeonnam Province for more than two years as of February 1, 2021.
However, public institution employees receiving welfare points, out-of-school youth education allowance recipients, and Jeonnam female farmers and fishermen voucher recipients are excluded. For those eligible for the Munhwa Nuri Card, 90,000 KRW will be provided excluding the Munhwa Nuri fund.
The application period is from February 1 to February 28, 2023. Applications can be submitted online through the Nonghyup Card website or in person at the town or township office of the applicant’s registered address.
After the selection process, individual notifications will be made in April, and the provided cultural welfare funds must be used within the year.
A county official stated, “We will continue to actively discover and promote youth policies such as the Culture Welfare Card support project so that young people can enjoy a satisfying life in the region.”
