Food Events Featuring Various Items Such as Grains, Nuts, and Dried Vegetables Until the 8th
Lotte Mart announced on the 2nd that it will hold a variety of Jeongwol Daeboreum food events, including grains, nuts, and dried vegetables, until the 8th.
First, until the 8th, a special Jeongwol Daeboreum limited edition product will be released and sold. The planned products released this time are two items: ‘Sowoneul Malhaebwa (Pi Peanut + Pi Walnut)’ and ‘Alkong Chal Ogokbap,’ each priced at 5,990 KRW. ‘Sowoneul Malhaebwa’ is a product for ‘Bureomkkaegi’ (cracking nuts) and consists of Pi walnuts (200g) and Pi peanuts (150g), allowing customers to enjoy according to their preference. ‘Alkong Chal Ogokbap’ is made of glutinous rice, glutinous millet, aged seoritae black beans, glutinous sorghum, aged red beans, and cha jobssal rice, making it easy to cook five-grain rice. It features convenience by including aged seoritae and aged red beans that do not require soaking, and uses the K variety ‘Baekokchal’ glutinous rice, known for its excellent stickiness.
Additionally, essential domestic grains for Ogokbap such as ‘Jeokdu (red beans) (500g),’ ‘Seoritae (700g),’ ‘Chalgi-jang millet (600g),’ and ‘Chal sorghum (700g)’ are sold at a uniform price of 5,990 KRW each. Compared to last year’s unit price, this is up to about 45% cheaper. Also, ‘Glutinous rice (4kg)’ is offered at 9,990 KRW, 15% cheaper than the previous price, and ‘Cha jobssal rice (500g)’ is 30% cheaper at 8,900 KRW.
For domestic dried vegetables necessary for Jinchae-sik (vegetable side dishes) eaten with Ogokbap, a ‘Dadaikseon’ (the more you buy, the more benefits you get) event is held. L.POINT members receive discount benefits, and dried eggplant, dried sweet potato stems, dried gondre, dried buchu greens, dried taro stems, dried chwinamul, dried pumpkin, and dried radish strips are available at 4,490 KRW per pack with a 500 KRW discount when purchasing two packs, and at 3,990 KRW per pack with a 1,000 KRW discount when purchasing three or more packs. Also, nine popular nuts and dried fruits, including roasted almonds and banana chips, are sold at 9,990 KRW, with a ‘1+1’ event where buying one item gives one free.
Moreover, Lotte Mart will offer Jeongwol Daeboreum foods at its ready-to-eat food stores from the 3rd to the 5th for three days to cater to customers seeking convenience. Representative products include ‘Daeboreum 9-chan Namul (1 pack)’ at 9,900 KRW and ‘Yaksik (100g)’ at 1,350 KRW. At Lotte Mart’s side dish stores, ‘Daeboreum Modeum Namul (100g)’ is available for 3,900 KRW.
