In particular, regarding the Hometown Love Donation System implemented from this year, he asked for special efforts so that each public official’s active interest and promotion can lead to the expansion of the county’s finances and revitalization of the local economy.

Also, at this regular assembly, the excellent proposals of the winners of the 2022 Damyang-gun Youth Policy Proposal Contest were presented, sharing concerns for the future of youth and Damyang together.

Governor Lee instructed the related departments to reflect the two outstanding policy proposals (providing convenient breakfast meals twice a week for middle and high school students, and implementing a youth director system at Dambit Youth Culture House) from the youth’s innovative suggestions into county policies.

Governor Lee Byeongno emphasized, “Public officials exist because of the residents, and they must provide kind administrative services that satisfy the residents,” adding, “All public officials should approach residents first with the principles of listening and serving, and carry out administration that fills the needs.”
